Jewish New Year’s Technical Hitch!

Any other Brits remember the Citroen C4 Advert Robot car dance from way back in 2006? Its admirers say the accompanying music was Jacques Your body (Make Me Sweat) by Les Rhthmes Digitales.

Well, the Digitales didn’t have anything on the cool, prize-winning  profs. from the Haifa Technion, Israel who have produced the snazziest Jewish New Year greeting I ever did see. BTW, thanks must go to Sharona Stanhill of the Nefesh B’Nefesh Israel immigration aid group who posted it as part of a seasonal greeting to her online friends.

Say the Technion – er, techies: “Geeks are boring? NO way. Nobel Laureates live in ivory towers? University presidents are inaccessible? Perhaps you should ask Technion President Prof. Peretz Lavie for some Hip Hop lessons. Join the entire Technion family and the world community of lovers of education, science and technology with some of the hottest robots from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology as they strut their stuff to a hip-hop cover of the traditional Jewish song, Shana Tova, or happy new year for the Jewish New Year 5773.”

So there!
