A record 67 people this weekend helped to raise more than 1500 NIS (about £271.00 / US $443) for local needy children at the fourth annual fun quiz hosted by ESRA Karmiel in Western Galilee, Israel.
The event, conceived and led by question master, former Mancunian, Brian Fink was co-ordinated by Frankie Cronin, a fellow U.K. expat and ESRA Karmiel chairman.
The quiz was the second fund raising charity event within less than a month to be attended by a large cross-section of the ex-pat Karmieli Anglo community, proving once again the power of communal co-operation.
