I remember this wonderful photograph – from the height of the 2nd Lebanon War.

I used it at the time on the front cover of Shalom the newsletter of the Sha’arei Shalom North Manchester Reform Synagogue which I was editing at the time.

Now I live barely 20 kilometres from the Lebanese border, the music and images have added, poignant resonance.
