Learning to Croak in HTML

I consider the BlogFrog blogging community to be very cute indeed. Here the U.S.-BlogFrog.Logobased team explains how its embedded discussion BETA-version will work.

“BlogFrog is testing the ability to embed any discussion directly into a blog post, just like you would a YouTube video!

Come across a great discussion in your favourite community and you want your readers to view it on your blog? Just embed it. One of your readers create a great discussion in your community? Go ahead and embed it!

Next to any discussion you will see an embed button. Just press this button and up pops the code. Paste this into the HTML view of any blog platform (wordpress.org or blogger) and you're done! The discussion and its replies automatically appear.

You can see it in action on The Thrifty Mama.

The goal of this feature is to help keep communities active, and reward readers for starting interesting discussions by "promoting" them to the front page.

Currently, clicking reply will take readers to the community page, but in the future, people will be able to reply straight from the blog as well.

What do you think? Would you use this? Where?”
